Dr. Holly Smith developed a love for animals at a young age, which was instilled in her by her grandmother. Growing up in rural Mississippi, she started helping animals in need since she was a child. Dr. Smith has always had a deep compassion for all animals.

Dr. Smith graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Mississippi State University. She continued her education at the same university and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Since then, she has worked in various fields including shelter medicine, general practice, and emergency medicine.

Currently, Dr. Smith has two large dogs named Tripp and Boomer, two Pomeranians named Sunny and Ruby, and an unknown number of rescue cats. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, practicing yoga and meditation, and traveling.
