Dr. Jacob Atkins graduated from Mississippi State University in 2021 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He entered the emergency field shortly after graduating. His first two years were spent in Mobile, AL, before moving to Birmingham in 2023. Dr. Atkins has a strong interest in ultrasound and toxicology but enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine. 

In his free time, he enjoys hunting, golf, trivia, and video games, to name a few things. Dr. Atkins has enjoyed living in Birmingham and looks forward to a long future in the area with his wife and two dogs.
