Dr. Jennifer Buird attended Mississippi State University for both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. She earned her DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine at MSU in 2004.

In 2021, she also earned a certificate in Ministry and Leadership from Highlands College in Birmingham. The following year, she completed a year-long internship in Outreach at the Grants Mill campus.

She has practiced both general and emergency medicine in Florida, Virginia, and Alabama.

Dr. Buird’s medical interests include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and wound care.

When she’s not working, Dr. Buird enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their three pets. Her favorite pastimes are reading by the fire and international traveling.
