Dr. Alverson grew up in Pell City, AL. She received her BS in biology from Birmingham-Southern College and her DVM from Tuskegee University class of 2021. Dr. Alverson has 22 years of experience in emergency and critical care, majority of career at ESAMC on Acton Road. She enjoys both medical and surgical emergency cases. Dr. Alverson is married with three daughters and two stepsons, four ankle-biters, four cats, and two rabbits. She keeps her mental health in check with frequent visits to DisneyWorld and participates in several RunDisney events every year.
